The girl with Pat is Ann Marie Bride, and her big thing was Swimphony, an interclass water ballet competition. So I would guess that that is the Swimphony trophy.
This blogging has been quite an experience, Frank. I have looked at and dug into things I haven't touched in years. I did find an article about the Junior year Swimphony, which our class won, and realized that the whole event included many races and a thing called Landphony -- dancing on "land" around the pool. That year, it was "the Roaring Twenties," and Pat was listed as part of the land event. The pictures with our white blazers on meant it was out senior year, so we must have won that year, too. And I don't remember holding the trophy, but I must have had something to do with it. :)

ReplyDeleteDid you and Pat compete?
ReplyDeleteI didn't. I tried out and almost drowned. :) I'm not sure what Pat did.
ReplyDeleteI added another picture with you holding said trophy. Hmmm..
